What does this mean?

AA approved garages are not owned or managed by the AA - they're either independently owned or part of a franchise group.

They thoroughly inspect each one before it can join their network to ensure it fully meets their quality, service and training standards. This means every garage is trustworthy and AA approved.

They carry out full audits of our approved garages annually, as well as ad-hoc spot checks. Their audit checklist covers:

• Quality control of all work.
• Technician qualifications.
• Professionalism and customer service.
• Price transparency and invoicing.
• Vehicle protection.
• Equipment.
• Health & safety (including fire safety).
